Quick Summary

Beauty Pop is a high school Shoujo with a beauty industry theme. In a certain high school there is a group of 3 boys (pictured below, left to right: Ochai, Narumi, and Kei) that have formed a group called the Scissors Project (SP for short). They each come from families that own respected businesses in the beauty industry. SP selects an attractive girl from the school and makes them over in front of the rest of the school. It’s said that a girl that is made over by SP has a 100% success rate of confessing and being accepted by their crush.

Quick Summary

Fumihiko Matsumaru is an unlucky guy. None of the projects he has proposed in his advertising department have been accepted and he has just been stood up by a woman in accounting to see Roman Holiday (yes thats right the Hollywood movie staring Audrey Hepburn). As Fumihiko is about to throw out his tickets he encounters a cheerful girl (she is 20) who asks him not to throw out the tickets. Being an Audrey Hepburn fanatic she drags him to see the movie with her and cheers him up with dinner after. He learns that she is an aspiring voice actress whose greatest wish it is to someday do the voice of Audrey Hepburn in a Japanese dubbing. They walk most of the way home together and realize they’re neighbors. Although they only casually acknowledge this and go their separate ways without learning each others names. (THE END!…just kidding)

Quick Summary

This plot is about Kyoko Mogami, a 16 year old girl who fell madly in love with her best friend Shotaro when they were children. Since then she has done everything in her power to ensure his happiness. Sho is the heir to his family’s inn but decides he wants nothing to do with such a boring life and decides to pursue a music career in Tokyo. Sho asks Kyoko to abandon high school and her hometown to join him in achieving his goal. Kyoko agrees and lives a hectic life working multiple jobs and spending nothing on herself so that Sho may live comfortably. Eventually, Sho is considered to be in the top twenty most popular entertainers in Japan. One day, Kyoko brings Sho his lunch at a company building and overhears Sho complaining about her to his manager, saying that she is a boring and plain girl that he’d like to be rid of. Kyoko then unleashes a torment of vengeful demons (literally) from deep within herself and swears revenge into Sho’s mocking face.
